Norman – Oh, what a lovely honeymoon that must have been! I know I richly enjoyed my trip to – er – Samba-land, and maybe someday I’ll even get to tango . Thanks for sharing these ‘photos!
Those lucky ducks! Samboing and tangoing through those two amazing countries. I have always wanted to visit Leighton Gage’s novels’ settings. It is fascinating to me. And Argentina, too, although I worry about the past junta popping up in landmarks somehow.
Just saw The Secrets in Their Eyes, a good romance/thriller set in aforementioned tango-land. Well-done, although you need snacks and a possible nap beforehand, as it’s long.
Kathy and Margot they had a fantastic time and realise how very lucky they are, because my son’s work means he was checking out 2014 World Cup, and 2016 Olympic sites, hotels, restaurants etc.
Argentina seems to have recovered from the junta and the decade old economic collapse, because they loved Buenos Aires, eaten enough red meat to last a lifetime.
