On Sunday it was hard to believe it was still February as we had the most incredible blue sky and the first early signs of Spring.

Killerton House, a National Trust property, a few miles north of Exeter was packed as Devonians, who are not used to sunshine in this rainy corner of England, set out to enjoy the weather. It was a pleasant change from worrying about the shrinking economy, reading the good but rather depressing Ashes by Sergios Gakas, and watching the very violent Danish TV series, Those Who Kill.
